AUSTRALIAN GLASS YEAR.
The Australian Glass Manufacturers Company, Ltd., made a net profit of £175,522 during the year ended March 31 an increase of £45,921 on the previous year's profit. The ordinary dividend is increased from 9 per cent, to 13 per cent, requiring £120,962, and the 9 per cent, preference dividend requires £15,750. There is no transfer to reserves, £70,006 being carried forward, against £31,196 brought forward. Of the ordinary dividend,-the company states, 4 per cent, is paid out of income
