OHAU CLEARING SALE

At a clearing sale conducted on account of P. J. Aplin, at the farm, at Ohau, last Wednesday, by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., there was a good attendance of buyers. Competition was kenn, and the ■sale proved satisfactory to the vendor. Best cows sold from £5 to £6 15s, others, £3 to £4 10s; spring calving ■heifers, £4 15s; yearling heifers, 37s 6d to 455; bull, £3. Sows, £2 10s to £4 15s; boar, £2 ss. Sundries fetched full vales. The line of 12 cows sold on account of an outside vendor sold well at prices from £3 to £6 7s 6d, averaing just on £5.
