INVERCARGILL, This Day.

A tragic motor accident occurred last evening, involving the deaths of Thomas A. Nicholson and Allan.Timpany, manager and secretary of the Linton Coal Company. They had visited the mine at Ohai, and left Otautau for Invercargill at 8 o'clock in drizzling rain. About 4 o'clock in the morning three men who were proceeding to Nightcaps saw their car in the Aparima River; it had crashed through the Fairfax bridge.
