WAR RELIEF FUNDS
DIMINISHING IN AUCKLAND

• AUCKLAND, June 6. , The Vapid- rate at which the fund of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association is decreasing Is illustrated in the annual report of the executive. It is anticipated, should the rate of Expenditure continue as>a't present, that'the fund-, will be exhausted in about four or five'years;:. v. ';''■ ?
. The; report states tHaf the - claims board considered ■ 502J;; applications during the year; 3430 -being assisted. The fund has now" been- '.tedticed to £52,900. The original capital:of the fund in 1915 was £374,104, but additional donations and interest received increased the fund to £634,949.
