EXTENT OF EMPLOYMENT Information from public and semipublic institutions operating, on a nonprofit earning basis, and from local authorities, agricultural and pastoral associations, lodges, religious denominations, and architects, is being sought by circular by the Unemployment Board with a view to ascertaining the probable building activities during the next two years, as an indication of the employment likely to be created. The board solicits the co-operation of all the organisations and architects circularised, and asks them to arrange for any persons or bodies concerned to communicate with the Commissioner of Employment. All interested parties are asked to supply the following information, giving the order of necessity where more than one building is proposed:—(l) The date it is anticipated that the work could be commenced; (2) the estimated cost of the work; (3) the amount of money available for the purpose; and (4) where the whole of the necessary finance is riot in hand the prospects of raising the deficiency, and the time it is considered this will take. .
