PRESBYTERIAN CLUB

The Presbyterian Club had thirtyfive runners on the six miles trail leading from St. Andrew's Church, The Terrace. The paper led up Sydney Street on to the Tinakori Hill to Wadestown down Weld Street, and up to Ngaio, across to Waikowhai Street, following the road to Wilton's Bush and on up to Northland, returning down Glenmqre Street. K. Moore won the run-in, R. Yarrell was second, and K. Comrie third. The colts had a run of. about three miles. J. Aston and J. Moncrieff put up a good performance and led at the finish by 500 yards. Next Saturday the church teams' race for the Martin Shield will be run from St. James's Church, Newtown.
