The Minister of Health (Sir Alexander Young) left for the north last evening. He is to return to Wellington, on Wednesday.
The Minister of Defence (the Hon. J. G. Cobbe) left Wellington last evening for Feilding and Auckland. He is due back about the middle of next week.
The Minister ot Agriculture (the Hon. C. E. Macmillan) left Wellington for Auckland last evening. He is to return on Thursday
Dr. Lyndon Bastings returned from the south yesterday, and, with Mrs. Eastings, proceeded to Dannevirke today. • '

Father Rohan; who was received with applause, thanked the parishioners for their, kindness to him during the past five years.
