CAR CONVERSIONS

BOYS FOR WERAROA

PALMERSTON N., This Day.

Two boys, each 16J years of age, were ordered by the Magistrate to be placed under the care of the Child Welfare Department and to be taken to the Weraroa Training Farm when they appeared in the Juvenile Court today jointly charged with twelve offences, including five of converting motor-cars to their own use in Palmerston North and surrounding district.

These were the boys who were arrested at'Opiki a week ago when attempting to start a car which had been unlawfully removed from a city street.
