GRAND OFFICERS ELECTED

TIMARU, May 30.
The annual conference of the New Zealand branch of the Hibernian Society elected the following grand officers:—President, Bro. T. Pound (Wellington); vice-president, Bro. M. Grimes (Christchurch); past-president, Bro. P. D. Hoskins (Wellington); treasurer, Bro. W. C. Frude (Wellington); warden, Bro. J. Stratford (Wellington); guardian, Bro. J. McLaughlin (Wellington); auditors,- A. V. Dallow and S. F. Hoskins (Wellington).
It was reported that the total funds exceeded £106.000, and the membership stood at 4500. Ten new branches were opened during the year.
