TAIL LIGHT LOOKS GOOD

I Tail Light had shown promising" form lon several occasions before he won the Claremont Stakes at the South Canterbury Meeting last Saturday. vHe had his- first' race on^-the same course early in April, when He ; was . second .to Viking, after which he was fourth on each day of the- Canterbury Jockey Club's Easter Meeting, followed by another fourth at Amberley. In his latest effort he jumped out smartly, being one of the leaders all the way, and he ran out six furlongs solidly, never looking in danger of defeat over the final furlong. Being by Day Comet from Owlscombe,' by Autumnus from Gleriowlet, he is a brother to Silent Flight ahd Owlsgleam, and he is likely to prove a much better proposition than either,.of'his relatives.
