DUBLIN, May 29. Speaking in the Dail, Mr. de Valera said:."lt is to our advantage to be oa friendly terms with Britain in trading matters. We are prepared to-enter into an agreement to purchase pound for pound from her, and even give her preference.
"My object has always been to establish friendly relations. We could even make trade defence treaties with Britain." . ' y
