"THE FLYING DOCTOR"
STUNTING OVER DARWIN
NOMINAL FINE IMPOSED
(Received May 14, 10.35 a.m.) DARWIN, This Day. For having endangered the public safety by low flying, looping the loop, and stunting over Darwin Dr. Clyde Cornwall Fenton, "the Flying Doctor," was fined £20 with £6 15s 6d costs; A stay of proceedings was granted. On Sunday Dr. Fenton flew over 100 miles to attend a man who was seriously ill, and since his licence has been suspended he. has made eight flights, four of which were urgent calls.
