SPORT AT NOVA SCOTIA

(From "The Post's" Representative.) VANCOUVER, April 10. Nova Scotia is attracting sportsmen from various parts of the world for the tuna fishing, which tries the skill of the most hardened contestant for records. ■ Mr. Zane Grey, the novelist, added to his records by catching a 7581b tuna off Cape Breton. He declared it the most thrilling sport he encountered in his travels. Commander J. K. L. Ross, R,N., hooked a tuna in the same locality, at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning. He fought it throughout the afternoon. Darkness fell. Ross was determined. So, apparently, was the tuna. It towed the boat for miles, sounding again and again. When daylight came, Ross was tiring, and the renewed skirmishes became so exhausting that at 6 a.m. he was compelled to cut his line and admit defeat. A veteran American sportsman, Thomas Howell, of Chicago, fought his fish for 62 hours before landing it A fortnight later, he landed, in a little over two hours, the record tuna weighing 9561b:
