ROYAL LIMOND'S TOUR
COMMENCING AT WANCANUI
(By Telegrapfi.) (Special to the "Evenins Post.") GHRISTCHURCH, May 13. D. O'Connor left tonight with Royll Limond, who will compete in the steeple--chases at Wanganui, Te Kuiti, and Auckland Meetings.' The Limond gelding looked a difficult subject early in his education orer country, but his schooling has improved a lot lately, while the racing he had at Riverton and Wmgatui also proved beneficial. As a result he has reasonable prospects in his North Island campaign His owner, Mr. A. Syme, will go north on Wednesday night to see his horse race at Wanganui. It is stated that Acceptable will n&t run at Wanganui. W. J. Broughton wai engaged to ride this hack, but now that the month's suspenEion hap boen imposed upon him the owuer of Acceptable has decided not to start at this week's future. A message from Wanganui advised that Acceptable was scratched at 9.30 a.m. yesterday for the Winter Oats Handicap.
