HUTT RIVER BOARD.

The recount for the Hutt River Board has been completed. The final figures are as follows:—J. Brasell 1884 F. J. Jones 1874, J, Mitchell 1811, M j! Hodgins 1806, V, A. Noble 1563 (elected), W. B. Hutchison 1244 W A F Hall 1049, N. H. Routley 951, informal In connection with the high number of informal votes, many people had two votes and apparently some of them took the papers and did not exercise the extra vote. The returning officer found a number of papers in the booths. There were 1611 voters at this election as compared with 820 in 1933.
