THIEF IN THE NIGHT
£25 FROM THREE HOUSES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) a «.• * AUCKLAND, This Day. A thief silently entered three houses including a boarding establishment, in Wellesley Street early on Sunday morning and stole a total of £25 10s in cash and a gold watch chain. Although he stood at their bedsides while removing the money from their clothes he did not awaken any of the occupants.
