' : —^~ ■■■♦ !: . "■ •"i EXECUTIVE MEETING A meeting of the executive of the Wellington Kennel Club .was held recently, the president, Mr: W. Barke, being in the chair. . It was decided to holdsa ribbon parade on Saturday, June 8, in the Winter Show i Building.. The judges nominated were:— Sporting dogs, Mr. G. Wackrbw; nonrrtinfvMr. P. ■ W. Willspn; terriers, Mr. Hook; Alsatians," Miss-M. Barke; toys,' Mrs. -C. Neale.". The. secretary, was instructed to have schedules printed andposted tto members. Owing to ,its being winter, and to have the judging completed at a reasonable hour, it was decided to delete some of the classes, leaving the ' under i six motnhs, under twelve months, ■ novice, limit, and open, with the, usual variety classes. Various ribbons were also jdonated. - ■.■■'.'. ~ ,' . I The ladies' committee wrote etating that they would hold- a dance in Miss O'Connor's studio on the same night as the parade. ■ ' ■ I The date of the annual show was arr ranged for October 23. If possible the services of an Australian judge are to be sought, and the secretary was instructed to make inquiries in this respect. ~ The Dominion Irish Terrier Club wrote applying for affiliation, and this was granted on the motion of Mr. Edgar, seconded by Mr. Watt. It was decided that Messrs. Hinchliff and Watt inspect the club's benching, etc., and arrange to have the necessary repairs attended to. - An offer from Mr. P. 0. Watt of an office for the committee meetings was | accepted with thanks. . .'
