CALGARY, April 26.

A Royal Canadian Mounted Police corporal, Michael Moriarty, was stibt dead while attempting to arrest Daniel Knox, a farmer who had driven a bailiff off his farm at the point of a gun. Knox, who was barricaded in a granary, was slain by the police after two hours' battle. ;
