The General is accompanied by Colonel Griffiths, Lieu-tenant-Colonel Mabee, Major Mrs. Mackness, members of, her staff, and .Mrs. Herbert Booth, her sister-in-law. Also accompanying her on the trip from Auckland to Wellington are Commissioner Adams, head of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, and Colonel Orsborn, chief secretary. The Governor-General, Viscount Galway, will be present, and also representatives of the Government, as well as many prominent citizens. In the evening General Booth will give a Gospel address in the Town Hall, and as it is anticipated that there will be a large crowd who willwant to hear her, arrangements have been made for the accommodation of overflow audiences in the Town Hall Concert Chamber and at the Salvation Army Citadel. General Booth will be in Wellington until Thursday next, when she is to leave for Auckland. She is to sail from Auckland on Saturday next for San Francisco, en route to London. While in Wellington the General will stay at the Paulina Home, Owen Street. She will be present at a young people's demonstration in the Town Hall on Monday night, and at a gathering specially arranged for soldiers and ex-sol-diers in the Town Hall on Tuesday night. She will also conduct Salvation Army officers' councils, which will be held in the Citadel.

Mr. Lyndon Bastings, senior science master at the Dannevirke High School, has received intimation from the University of New Zealand of its approval for the degree of Doctor of Science for a thesis on "The Buller (N.Z.)
