WRESTLING.

Wellington wrestling enthusiasts will remember the highly interesting and spectacular ' performances -of the Portuguese wrestler, Al Pereira, when he visited New Zealand with the 1933 team. Pereira provml himself an expert wrestler-and his matches were always popular. His return with the 1035 team, and his opening match on Wednesday night at the Town Hall, should be well received. Since 1933 Pereira lias been wrestling in the United States and in Brazil, and of course has gained a good deal of valuable experience which no doubt will make itself apparent in his matches here this year. Pereira's opponent on Wednesday night will be "Hardy" Kruskamp, a newcomer to New Zealand, who, if • build and appearances can be counted upon, should be able to extend Pereira fully. Kruskamp was one of Koloff's team* which toured Europe not long ago and he has' au impressive record. . It is reported that his methods in the ring are similar to those of the popular Dean Detton. Particulars of the match are advertised.
