NEW STAMPS SOUGHT

COLLECTORS INTERESTED

Stamp collectors all over the world are inquiring for specimens of New Zealand's new pictorial stamps cancelled with the date stamp of May 1, when the new stamps will be issued: The stock of first-day covers is nearly depleted. ■ ■ ' First-cover envelopes are issued free together with a descriptive folder, and these are being forwarded in great numbers to the General' Post Office for special hand date-stamping—an exercise requiring the correct touch, and not too little and not too much ink. Much extra business has already resulted from the demand by stamp.collectors and the Department's arrangements to supply the demand.
