When the first dull days appear hundreds of young people begin to look forward to the winter months, which mean exhilarating snow sports. Thoughts naturally turn to preparing a kit, which must include woollies, such as warm- jumpers or jackets, two or three pairs of thick woollen socks, a cap with'neck and ear'flaps that may be turned down, and. a pair of woollen gloves, for. wear under the canvas gloves. ,So that those intending,to make their own woollies may make an early start, directions ere given now for making this very attractive set in red and white. This week directions are given for making the jacket, which features a smart round yoke neckline in red brush wool and is flnishe'd with bright red wooden buttons. ! MATERIALS REQUIRED.
