PROTESTANT ALLIANCE FRIENDLY SOCIETY
(By Telegraph—Press,.Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 23. The fifty-fourth session of the Grand Lodge of the Protestant Alliance Friendly Society was opened today. Delegates were welcomed by the Deputy-Mayor, Rev. J. K. Archer.
Officers of the Grand Council were elected as follows:—W.G.M., Bro. J. Lindsay; 1.P.G.M., Bro. J-. Harvey; D.G.M.., Bro. G. Hellyer; Grand Secretary, Bro. A. Hay; Grand Treasurer, Bro. H. D. Austin; Grand Chaplain, Bro. H. A. Christie; Grand Trustees, Bros. G. Perrin, E. H. Sincock, and A. Devlin; joint editors of "The Brotherhood," Bros. G. Perrin and T. Arnold.
