MATCHES AT OTAKI

OTAKI, This Day.
A match between the Oriental (Wellington) juniors and Otaki was played at Otaki on Monday, and resulted in a win for Otaki, 26-8. The game was not a brilliant one, although play at times was good. In the evening the visitors were entertained at a dinner.
On Saturday, Porirua defeated Otaki juniors, 11-6, after a hard-fought game. Porirua scored the winning points on call of time.
At Manaknu, Athletic (Wellington) drew with Hui Mai, 16-16, after a fine contest. Hui Mai led for the greater portion of the game. The visitors were entertained at dinner.
