.' The South African cricketers made their first appearance today. In a oneday match they defeated Reigate Priory, who scored 166 in their first innings and 30 in their second.
South Africa declared their innings closed after making 196 for the loss of eight wickets. Seidle, who made 78, was the principal scorer.
