WAIPUKURAU WIN
VICTORIA COLLEGE'S SMALL RESPONSE The superiority of Waiptikuran Old Boys in the second inningw led to an exr citing conclusion of the match with Victoria College at Kelburn Park yesterday, find the visiting team had a meritorious win by 31 runs. Victoria College made 201 and dismissed Waipukurau for 102 in the first innings. _ Waipuknrau scored 247 in the second innings, in which, they were obliged to follow on. H. Wallis came to light with a well-compiled 122. Victoria College spent yesterday afternoon at the wickets, needing 149 to win, but they could 'manage to get only 117.
