SHANDON CLUB
The Shandon Golf Club's Easter toui'namerit was concluded yesterday, when A. Clclland (Waiwctii) took the championship by defeating C. E. Hollis (Shandon) in the final by 2 and 1. Clelland played the steadier game. Hollis, last year's winner, was iiiot up to form on the greens. .
The Shandon. Handicap was won by C. Edgar (12), who .beat A. Jenkins (10) in the final, 1 up.
The final of the Consolation Handicap was won by W. Begg (14), who beat It. A. Comerfoj-d (10) 7-0. In the medal round E. Davis, 83, 18—65, and J.'Ferguson'. 82, 21—05, tied. Ferguson won the draw. The next best cards were: M. McKelvie, 91, 24—07; W. Begg,: 82, 14 -GS. . .
The best net aggregate of three medal rounds was won by L. Monknian,. who recorded 208. Other scores .were: S. L. Eodger, 209; J. Ferguson, 209; J. G. Hughes, 210; G. S. Leeder, 211.
The fonrball best-ball bogey waa won by E. Lulham (5) and M. C. Carroll (14), with 7 up. Hollis (1) and W. Gill (14) were 7 up, but lost on the draw. The club president, Mr. C. H, Andrews,
thakcd the visitors,,for their attendance, and paid a tribute to the work of the committee and staff. Mrs. P. J. Burke, wife of the club captain, presented. the trophies. Mr. H. S. Wilkinson replied on behalf o£ the visitors.
