DEFENCE PREPARATIONS

VIENNA, April 21.
Dr; Kurt yon Schuschnigg, Minister of Justice, in an Easter broadcast, promised that the Government would immediately begin a campaign to relieve unemployment. The Government would contribute £16,000,000, of which £1,360,000 would* be devoted to national defence preparations.
