LATE ME. HOLLAND
PROPOSED MEMORIAL
Mention was made in the report of the national executive submitted today to the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party, that Mr. R. O. Gross, A.R.8.5., sculptor, had made his first model of the proposed memorial to the late Leader of the party, Mr. H. E. Holland, and that photographs had been shown to members of the Holland Memorial Committee at a recent meeting. The model, it was stated, met with general approval. "It is hoped," the report added, that the unveiling of the monument in memory of one who did so much to mdke a Labour Government possible will take place within the next twelve months." ____
Women students in German universities arc decreasing in number; law and chemistry students have both, fallen by mw than 50 per cent.
