Mr. and Mrs. Gifford Moore, Wellington, are spending Easter in Christchurch. Mrs Paulin, Wellington, is the guest of Miss P. Norton, Christchurch. Mr and Mrs. E. A. Blundell and Miss Pamela Blundell are spending the Easter holidays at Paraparaumu. Mrs F Burges Watson and the Misses Burges Watson left by the Niagara for England. Miss Peggy Loughnan, Lower Hutt, who returned recently from Sydney, is leaving to visit Mrs. H. W. Robinson, Bealey Avenue, Christchurch. Mrs. H. Price is spending Easter in Dannevirke with her sonMrs Lowry, Patumahoe, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. H. Clark, Khandallah. Miss Beatrice Cowper, Dannevirke, is among the visitors to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. A. E.. Allison are spending Easter at Waipawa. Mrs. C. H. Fowler has returned to Wellington after a visit to Timaru. Miss Olive Barron, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. W. Burns, Peel Forest, Canterbury. . Dr. and Mrs. Clay and Miss Shirley Clay are the guests of Mrs. Hutton Peacock, Waipukurau. Mrs. Laurie Wilson, Cashmere Hills, is in Wellington, en route for Sydney, where she will join the Orohsay for a tour in England and Europe. Mr. and Mrs. W. Trolove, Mr. and Mrs. B. Trolove, and Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Masefleld are Marlborough visitors to Christchurch. Miss M. B. Lovell-Smith, Christchurch, has left to join her sister, Miss W. Lovell-Smith, in Sydney. They will leave by the Ormonde for England. Mrs. Oswald Mills, Wellington, will be among those present at the Canterbury provincial golf championships which will take place at Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Middlebrook, Wellington, are spending the holidays at Timaru. Mrs. E. B. E. Taylor, who arrived in New Zealand recently to join her husband at Taumarunui, is spending Easter with her mother-in-law, Mrs. T. E. Taylor, Cashmere, Christchurch. Mrs. A. J. Archibald and family, Cashmere Hills, Christchurch, are spending the holidays in Wellington, and intend to visit Rotorua. The golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ranby, Hamilton, was celebrated on Thursday, Sir Alexander Young and Mr. Stewart Reid, M.P., being among the speakers.
