YACHTING

PAIIEMATA RESULTS

PROVINCIAL TITLES

Two provincial titles and two regatta championships were decided during a

full weekend of yachting at the Paremata Boating Club's Easter regatta, which has attracted a large entry of yachtsmen from many parts of the Dominion. Lois (W. Corrin) won the provincial championship in the square-bilge race and Miss Josephine (K. Parkin) won the Kona Jellicoc championship. The Watson brothers in their speedy Watti carried off the title of champion Takapuna at the regatta, and W. Heid sailed the Robin to victory in the Tuuvanga regatta championship for boys under 16.

Four races had to be abandoned on .Saturday owing to tlie exceeding of the two and a half hours' time limit in a faint breeze, and the necessity for lesailing them caused a rearrangement' in today's programme. In the second race of the series for the Josephine Bradey Cup, the first boat home, Miss Josephine, was disqualified for fouling Monica, the second boat home, to which the race was given. A protest has been entered against this disqualification, however, and, if upheld, this will change the positions considerably. The leaders for the cup at present are:—Kitty, 31 points; Monica, 29; Impudence, 24; Southern Maid, 23; Lois, 20; Idono, 18; Queenie, 16; Lavina, 14 Points scored by the leaders in the series for the Quirke Memorial Plaque are as follows:—Marie, 22; Watti, 11; Twink, 8; Damfino, 7; Kincora, 7; Wairoa, i. HARM OF ALKALI IN SHAMPOO. Your hair—strangely enough, really a derivative of fat—reacts with dullness and loss of health to the touch of fat alkali, such as is found in the ordinary shampoo. This explains why Sheena Soapless Shampoo so quickly i renews beauty in hair. Sheena lathers luxuriously. 9d packet. Perrett's Pharmacy, 2 Manners Street. —Advt. 1
