CONFERENCE CONCLUDES

The annual conference of the Associated Churches of Christ in New Zealand which has been in session in Wellington during Easter concluded this afternoon. ,

After a devotional period conducted, by the president, Dr. Drury, reports held over from Saturday were dealt with.

The following\have been elected as the general executive and home missions committee for the coming year:— President, Mr. E. P. Aderman (South Dunedin); committee, Messrs. H. R. Callam, J. G. Bell, W. G. Carpenter, W. R. Craig, A. A. Creamer, R. J. Dick, A. Donald, G. Moyle, and Ernest Vickery (all of Auckland). The foreign missions committee will be again located at Nelson, and the personnel of the committee is:—Mrs. Phillips, Messrs. F. V. Knapp, P. Boddington, S. G. Lamb, A. E. Brough, A. B. Inglis, H. Stephens, T. Bamford, and P. Bolton.

The finance committee elected were: Messrs. A. G. Saunders, G. Fretwell, G. A. Mathieson, D. Cairns, G. Day, A. H. Eaton, and V. K. Brown.

The Bible College Board for the ensuing year will comprise practically the same members as last year, those elected being Messrs. W. King, W. D. More, W. H. McKenzie, G. W. Stokes, T. Todd, H. Smith, W. T. Wilson, and H. Gill, with the principal (Mr. A. L. Haddon, M.A.) and assistant principal (Mr. E. P. Aderman, 8.A.) as members ex officio.

The conference was the largest Dominion assembly yet held.
