PALMERSTON N., This Day

In the Palmerston North Magistrate's Court yesterday Community Stores, Ltd., were fined £10 for employing youths for unduly long hours. Two boys had been engaged In one of the firm's branch stores as late as 9.50 p.m. packing groceries for the next day, whereas their duties should have terminated at 5.30 p.m.
