PRICES SOAR IN BELGIUM
LONDON, April 1. The "News-Chronicle's" Brussels cor-, respondent says the panic-stricken people, fearing that prices will soar, are besieging shops where already retail price increases range from 10 to 25 per cent. The Premier, M. Van Zeeland, issued a wireless appeal to the nation for assistance in mastering profiteers and speculators.
