NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Thursday, March 14, 1935, the following resolution was passed: The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following Bylaw under and by-virtue and in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, The Cemeteries Act 1908 and their respective amendments and of all other Acts powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf. The short title of this Bylaw is "The Wellington City Consolidated Bylaw Amendment No. 8 (General) 1935." The object and purport of the Bylaw are: (a) To provide a form of licence and licence fees in respect of hoardings;' (b) to provide that vehicles shall not be left stationary near corners or intersections where marks appear on roadway; (c) to prohibit parking in portion of Dixon Street; (d) to.prohibit dogs in foodshops .and stores and smoking, spitting, and dogs in auction marts handling foodstuffs; (c) to provide that burial plots may '.be transferred although interments have"take'tf"place; (f) to increase interment fees on Labour Day anS reduce^them ■on • Dominion" Day.
