Mr. Hounsell left £1000 to the Nelson College governors, £100 each to the Nelson Institute, the Salvation Army, the New Zealand Society for the Protection of the Health of Women and Children, St. Andrew's Orphanage, the S.P.C.A., and £100 each to three Nelson schools.
