DE VALERA'S HARVEST
• London. March 26. - "The Daily Telegraph* in'-..;. .■ a leader says'thai in seeking to subvert the Gorem* ment, the Republican Array is but following deValera'i own example. He has sown dragon's teeth and now : reaps a harvest of armed rebels holding out the hand .; of fellowship to a city mob. ■ : ■"■ " The Dublin correspondent of "The liaes" says:, Popular belief is that, "the guns are out again".. Following the shooting of two police officers an intensive combing of the city resulted in the arrest of two alleged tramway strikers* but they did not appear , in the police court as expected.- People point out that a tenantry dispute at Longford resulted recently in the murder of Richard Offerral, which was attributed to the Republican army. The Government's failure to bring anybody to Justice for crime inspires the suspicion that it does not wish to take repressive action against the extremists. Discontent due to the Offerral murder and the Republican Army's pugnacious intervention in the tram strike is aceut«-V ly embarrassing the De Valera Ministry.
