JOCKEYS' APPEALS

HASTINGS, March 1

The appeals of the jockeys R. Reed and B. H. Morris against their month's suspension by the Woodville Jockey Club were heard by the Hawke's Bay District Committee this afternoon and were dismissed.

The appeal of R. Marsh, who on the same occasion was fined £10 for giving unsatisfactory evidence, was heard, and tne fine was reduced to £5.
