GOLD MISSION'S DOUBLE
Gold Mission, who surprised with a double win and two great dividends at Opimake. on Wednesday, had not done much previous racing, but she was a winner of a five furlongs scurry at the'Eg-mont-Taranaki Hunt Meeting last September, and was subsequently fourth in a race at Waverley. She had not raced on'the recent Taranaki circuit, her two previous starts having been at New Plymouth in December, when she ran two more fourths. ' .. : ;
Gold Mission is a four-year-old bay .mare by; Eoyal Divorce from the Dariilof •mare Lotuslof (a half-sister to Anchor and Glenotus), aud she is owned, by Mrs. E. M. Downes, of Wiivrvley, for whom- she, is being trained by H. Dulicii. On heilatest performances she is an improving hack who may shortly be adding- to her account.
