SYDNEY, This. Day. A suggestion that an Empire Conference be held to develop travel within the Empire was made by the Hon. Adam Hamilton in addressing the New South Wales Travel League, which entertained the Minister- at luncheon today. The Minister said that such a conference would bring about greater knowledge and understanding among the Empire units and considerably enhance Empire trade co-operation. It would also help shipping in a practical manner. He said that he had no doubt that an equitable method of securing funds for such a development would easily be propounded Mr. Hamilton suggested that when the Empire Prime Ministers met in London for the King's Jubilee, they should discuss preliminary arrangements for a conference of the kind indicated.
