Eden) has decided to leave early in on her return to Auckland after a year in England, most o£ which time has been spent in London: Miss Morison's cousin, Miss Norah'Shepherd,-of Hatfield, will accompany her for an extended holiday. Dr. Mary J. H. Russell (Wellington), who came to England to specialise in ear,' nose, and throat work, and who took a course at the Centra! London | Throat, Nose, ; and Ear Hospital, has been appointed to the specialist department of the Royal Hospital, Wblverhampton. Prior to taking up her resi- ■ dence in London, Dr. Russell spent a few. weeks with relative's in the north of Scotland. ■.-.;...■ Miss M. Mackenzie (Canterbury) is staying with friends at Goring-on-Sea, Sussex, where she will probably remain until the beginning of the summer, when tours will be made to different parts of England, Scotland, and Wales. She will travel with her^English friends and also with a friend irom" New Zealand whom she, expects. ;early in April. Miss Mackenzie, who has been in the Mother. Country for dbdut six weeks, came via Suez. She expects to.be away from the Dominion 'for two years. Holmes (Wellington) spent Christmas with naval friends in Malta; and since then she has been on a delightfulmotor tour in Sicily, which, offers a great deal of interest to students of history. Miss Catherine Holmes was," at Christmas, the guest of her old school in Paris, where she was accorded a great welcome. At present she is staying -in Wiltshire, where she is enjoying the hunts. and' the county dances. • v Mrs. A. Ginn (Wellington) is rimch. enjoying, her brief stay in London, for she is here during the winter musical season.
