Results of matches played on Saturday in the Upper Hutt Cricket League competitions are as follows: — Upper Hutt A, 251 for' five declared (Hewitt 61 not out, Thurgopd 51, Marryatt 30, St. Johnston 20 not out, Uussell 25) beat Ordnance, 80 (Wijfion 20). Bowling for Upper Hutt A, Avcher toqk five wickets for 28, and Russell five for 50. St. Josephs drew with Trenthani B. Methodist won on the fiist innings from Trenthani A, Training Depot, 78 for three declared (Musgvave 35 not' out, Anderson 20 not out) and 74 for four (Mace 42) beat Upper Hutt B 53 for six (Gibba 27J and 8B for eight (Bvnid 30, Gibbs 22). Bowling for the. Training Depot, Mace took six wic-r keta for 28, Queree three for 25; for Upper Hutt B, Skeoton took two wickets for 20. v
