B.M.A. AND HOSPITAL BOARDS
LOSES PORTFOLIO
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, February 11. There was a political sensation today when the New South Wales Cabinet, at a special meeting, decided to reconstruct the Ministry, omitting Mr. R. W. Weaver, Minister of Works and Health, who has recently fallen foul of some hospital boards, also the British Medical Associatibn, as a result of his frank speeches in criticism of hospital methods.. t; Mr. Weaver,.'. interviewed; said: "What have I to resign for?' I cannot belieye the Government is run in the interests of the British Medical Association. The Government finds no fault with my administration,,: but merely objects to my words, which are too blunt, too straightforward, and perhaps crude. I admit using the words 'dud doctors.' I, admit 'dud' is .an ugly word, but aren't there 'duds' in every walk of life, even 'dud' politicians? So bring in the guillotine." The Premier, Mr. B. S. Stevens, will take the, Ministry for Works until the election, and Mr. Fitzsimmons will take the Health portfolio:
