LAMB MARKET EASIER
Ihe frozen lamb market in London is easier owing to heavier arrivals, according to the weekly report received by cable by the New Zealand -Meat Producers' Board. Prices for wether and ewe mutton are lower, in sympathy with lamb, and with prospects of- heavier arrivals. The beef market is firm, and prices- are 'unchanged. Prices for New Zealand porker pigs are lower, with trade slow. The market for baconers is steady. and unchanged. The approximate average wholesale prices for the week, with those for the previous week in parentheses, are-— New Zealand sheep, Canterbury and North Island selected crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, 4S-56, 5%d t>er Hi (5 3-8 d); 57-64, 5d (5 l-8d).
