SOUTHERN PARTY'S PLIGHT
After an unsuccessful'attempt to fly from Christehurch' to INapijsr, a party from Christchurch made a forced landing in. a paddock at Makara •on Saturday, the'fog over Rongotai preventing the .aeroplane from' "cpniirig into -the city. The machine: wasi the;. |Canterbury Aero ' ClubV Fpx Moth, -piloted by Mr. J. Busch,' commercial pilot to. the club, and'-'carried : twoipasseflgers. It had an uneventful'flight, northwards from Christchurch, f ■until?.
