The London County Council decided on an official welcome to the Duke of Gloucester in the form of a luncheon at the Guildhall after his return from his tour.

Major Gow, in proposing the motion, paid a tribute to the Duke of Gloucester,' and expressed the, opinion that the city, by the .'.action suggested, would express the feelings both of ■ Britain and the Dominions.
