Mrs. Pickthall (London) returned from the Sounds trip yesterday, and was most enthusiastic in her appreciation of the scenery of her native land. She will leave on Sunday for a tour in the north, visiting Waitomo, The Chateau, Tauranga, and Auckland,, returning later to join her father, Sir Harold Beauchamp, and leaving with I him by the Rangitiki for England | Mrs Stuart Sidey has returned to i Dunedm, accompanied by Miss Joyce Thomas. - Mrs. E Salmond and Miss Margaret Salmona, Mellmg, have been stayin at their' Sounds residence) have returned home. Miss L. Bayfeild, Wellington, to Thomas, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. M, Dennis, Wellington. Miss Nancy Bayfeild was bridesmaid and Mr. N. 'H. Russell best man. The reception was held at the Empire Hotel.
