Lady Myera and Lady Buckleton added cordial tributes also. In her reply Mrs. Lewisexpressed her opinion of- the 'import, ance to the musical life of the city of such an orchestra, and paid a hearty tribute of praise to M de Msuny and Madame de Mauny for -their good work in connection with the .orchestra^ Among those present were'-Mrs T C. Kane, Eudora -and Frances Henry, Valedictory Party. s , A charming buffet luncheon was held at the home of Mrs Morton Paterson, at Wadestown yesterday, when Mrs D- C Peacock, who will leave for England shortly, was the guest of honour" The.rooms were decorated with gadioli in their many beautiful shades and a delicious luncheon was served »Mrs Paterson was in fawn .satin marocain, and the joinf hostess, Mrs Sinclair Thompson, wore a figured pink and green ninon frock. Mrs. Peacock was in a navy ensemble. The party was a most cheerful one, and many good Wishes were given to Mrs. Peacock for a delightful tour abroad. Mr, Len J. Greenberg greeted the members on the occasion of- their first meeting and spoke in. an optimistic strain of the association's contemplated programme of activities for the ensuing year. Mrs. W. H Hindle sang two songs', giving much pleasure.
