WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Heavy showers during the past two days have contributed substantially towards ending drought conditions, and it is expected that they will have the effect of rejuvenating the sunscorched and fire-blackened pastures and aiso. relieving the serious shortage of .water. .
The rainfall has interfered somewhat with the comfort of Territorials now in camp at Waipukurau.
