ADVERSE TRADE BALANCE

UNEQUAL TO COMMITMENTS

CANBERRA,. February 6.

The "Sun" correspondent states that economic experts are of opinion: that unless there is a sharp improvement in Australia's overseas trade balance her ability to meet commitments in the event of a bad season next year will seriously, be threatened.

Present indications are that the trade balance this year will fail by some £20,000,000 to meet current liabilities.
